Abstract: Percentage % of
total corona cases with total population (135 crore) in India is about
0.003929%. Percentage % of total corona cases with total population
(780 crore) in the world is about 0.04898%. It means for the last more
than two months 99.99% people in India and 99.95 % people in the world are
suffering from mental stresses and economical losses without having any
diseases. At this time, the numbers of corona cases are not decreasing
actually. The Decrease in number of corona cases is only due to strict
lockdown. If we remove lockdown then there will not be any decrease of corona
cases anywhere in the world. This corona disease is not going anywhere within
some months. It may continue for years. Question arises here is that whether we
can continue lockdown for years? Answer seems no. CM of Delhi Mr. Kejriwal said
that there would not be a day without corona case in near future. In my
point of view, It will not be feasible to keep lockdown continue for
years. In this situation our mental stress and economic conditions will
become more worsen than adverse impact of covid-19 pandemic. A person cannot
survive without food but that person may survive of covid-19 disease. The only
ways to fight this problem are either an effective vaccine or boosting our
immune system to fight against this infection. If vaccine becomes ready then it is good
but if not then we have to fight it by our immune system. Enhancement of
immune system of our body is very essential and only way to fight with this
virus. Some good healthy foods, physical
exercise and positive thinking will definitely boost our immune
system. Our body requires certain nutrients such as various types of
proteins (about 20% of total food) which contain all type of amino
acids, Carbohydrates (Glucose, fructose, sugars), Lipids
(Vegetable oils- mustard oil, olive oil), Minerals (Calcium, iron, zinc,
phosphorous, magnesium, selenium), Antioxidants containing food (about 20%
of total food) such as vitamins A, B, C, D, D3, E and beta carotene
and K) etc. These nutrients can be obtained from seasonal salads, milk
products, eggs and meat, grains –legumes, seasonal raw vegetables and seasonal fruits etc Our immune system does a very urgent job of defending us from disease causing microorganisms. By now, there is no scientifically proven direct link between lifestyle and enhanced immunity. It does not mean that our lifestyle do not have any effect on our immune system. In my point of view immunity is the combo pack of healthy and nutrient foods, yogic and physical exercises, our ways of thinking, age, psychological stress, adequate sleeping, and genetic effect. Our best doctors and best scientists cannot fully understand our body functions and its mechanism, so it is better that we try to live as naturally as possible. We require to manage the employments for laborers and skilled persons There are many employment agencies specializes in short term contracts for manual labor mostly in factories, constructions, offices, manufacturing units etc. Thus we can help to give employments to unemployed non skilled or skilled workers. We will develop a mentally and physically and economically strong societies in India. Key
words: Death percentage, recovery percentage,
healthy diet, lockdown, quarantine, immunity, covid-19, yoga, exercise Introduction: According to the data
of the date 07-05-2020, there are about 53045 corona cases in India,. Out
of 17118 closed cases, 1787 (10%) cases are cases of deaths and
15331 (90%) cases are cases of recoveries. There are about 3820864 corona
cases in the world. Out of 1568259 closed cases, 265098 (17%) cases are
cases of deaths and 1303161 (83 %) cases are cases of recoveries. Percentage
% of total corona cases with total population (135 crore) in India
is about 0.003929%. Percentage % of total corona cases with total
population (780 crore) in the world is about 0.04898%. It means for the
last more than two months 99.99% people in India and 99.95 % people in the
world are suffering from mental stresses and economical losses without having
any disease. But it is very necessary to cooperate with and obey
the government plans to fight corona. Because there is no effective
vaccine developed till now then we have to fight this virus by our strong
immunity at present. If we could not prepare any vaccine for this virus in
future then it will be our compulsion to face this virus with our immunity. If
we are facing diseases like cold, flu and other seasonal infections then
we should plan our diet by including following immune system booster. Seasonal allergies
are indicator of imbalance in the immune system. The symptoms would be stuffy
nose, ears and sinuses, inflamed eyes, headaches, sore throat and difficulty in
breathing, caused by the mucus- producing process of the immune system. Mucus
is released from the body to prevent foreign bacteria from entering it.
Emotional stress can also cause low immunity. There are several good
foods which can boost our immune system. Citrus
fruits: Vitamin-C increase the
production of white blood cells. These WBCs are key to fight
infections like cold and flu. Recommended daily amount of vitamin-C for adults are as 75 mg
for woman, 90 mg for man. it is very effective against new corona virus and
SARS-COV-2. Sources of Vitamin - C are grape, orange, tangerines, lemons, red bell
peppers. Red
bell pepper, carrot and papaya:
These contain very high amount of vitamin-C and beta carotene. Our body
converts beta carotene in to vitamin -A. Papaya provide a digestive enzyme 'Papain' which has anti inflammatory effect. Papaya also has substances
like magnesium, potassium and folate. These are immunity booster. Broccoli: It is packed with vitamins –A,C E,
antioxidants, minerals and fibers. It is immunity booster. Garlic: Garlic is present in almost every cuisine of the world.
It adds a zing to the food. Garlic is considered to slow down hardening of the
arteries. It makes our blood thin. It has high concentration of sulfur
containing compound-allicin. It is also anti – fungal
in nature. Ginger: It is used in many sweet desserts. Ginger contain
some heat in the form of gingerol like-caosaicin. It might have property to low
cholesterol. Ginger can help in decreasing inflammation, sore throat, other
inflammatory illness. Spinach
and green vegetables: It
is packed with many nutrients like- vitamn-C, berta carotene, iron, other
minerals, antioxidants. Which can increase our infection fighting ability. Yogurt
and milk products: We should sweeten
our plain yogurt by fruits and drizzle honey. These are great source of about
all vitamins, specially B-12 and vita-D, about all proteins and minerals
especially calcium. It is great immunity booster. Almonds
and wallnuts: These are packed
with vita-E, antioxidants, healthy fat, omega-3, proteins and minerals. Adults
require about15mg of vitamin-each day. Sunflower
seeds: It contain vitamin- B-6, E, phosphorous,
magnesium, selenium, proteins. It give potential to fight infections. Turmeric: It is key ingredients of several curries. It is
anti inflammatory to treat both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It is
packed with high conc of curcumin. Which can heal the damaged muscles and good
immunity booster. It also have some anti fungal ansd anti viral
properties. Green
Tea: It is packed with flavonoids and
epigallocatechin (EGCG). These are powerful antioxidants. It also has amino
acid L-theanine. It induce germ fighting substances in our T cells. Kiwi: It is packed with substances like- folate,
potassium, vitamin-C, K. These substances help to produce WBCs in the body to
fight infections. Meat
and eggs: These are very rich sources of Vitamins-A,
B-6, B-12, E, gelatin, chondroitin, about all type of proteins, iron, zinc,
calcium, folic acid etc. These all are very
strong immunity boosters. WHO recommends the
rational use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in hospitals and quarantine
centers. Second very necessary
things to boost our immunity are yoga and physical exercises of at least 30
minutes daily. So that we can fight and kill corona virus by our immune system. Literature
review: Its full name is Novel Corona Virus (Covid-19). This name is given by WHO. WHO
recommended following safety measures to stop this virus. A distance of at least 2
meter is necessary to ensure safety for all. Wash hand with water and soap
regularly and sanitize your hand. If soap is not available then use hand
sanitizer with 70% of alcohol. Do not touch your eyes, mouth and nose whole day
without sanitizing your hand. Immediately throw your used tissue papers in to
closed bins after use. Cover your nose and mouth with handkerchief or tissue
paper while sneezing or coughing. Avoid to go in mass gathering and in crowded
places. Social Distancing is a key point to stop the spreading of this virus. Role
of Physical education, Sports & Yoga to enhance immunity. More
than 200 different viruses can enter our body at any moment. Our life is
very hectic. We are normally prone to running nose, cough, cold,
stomach ache, headache, fever, flu, diarrhea etc. Healthy
eating habits and proper hygiene can reduce the risk of common seasonal
sickness. Yogic exercises can make our body organs very strong. Because
during yogic exercises different body organs work at higher frequencies due to which efficiency of body organs increases. Daily such exercises of the body give strong
body and thus enhanced immunity. This enhanced immunity of the body always help
us to fight infections. Yogic
exercises keeps our mind more strong. More mental ability to tolerate more
stress. physical exercise reduces stress and strength our body and
thus increase immunity. Main symptoms of
Covid -19 are Fever, cough, difficulty in breathing, pain in throat. For this
pandemic helping numbers as government of India toll free
phones-1075, 01123978046 and Email—ncov2019, ncov2019@gmail.com. IMF estimated 1.9 % GDP growth in financial year 2021-22 is the highest among G-20 nations. Unemployment has risen from 6.7% on march- 20% to 26% on 19 april-20 during lockdown. About 140 million people have lost their job. In first lockdown of 21 days, Indian economy has lost about 32000 crore ₹ each day. Supply chains are under lockdown restrictions. Daily wage groups or laborers are at most threatening state. It has been more than one month that there is significant low production in L & T, Bharat forge, U T cement, Grasim, Aditya Birla group, Tata groups of companies, Themax and about all SMSE. SENSEX and Stock market in India has sharply come down from its peak. During lockdown government was spending lots of fund. RBI governor has
announced several measures to counterbalance the economic impact of the covid
pandemic which include ₹ 50000 crore special finance to NABARD, SIDBI,
NHB on 18-april to protect these entities. India changed its FDI
policy to stop opportunistic take over of Indian industries due to covid
pandemic. Indian govt was planning
to invite the foreign companies who thinking to exit china due to this
pandemic. About 53 % of Indian businesses have been identified to be adversely affected by this pandemic (FICCI survey) Darjeeling tea industries were seeing high fall in revenue. Due to lockdown most of
services of Amazon, Walmart, Flipkart, Big basket, Grofers, Swiggy and Zomato
are not functioning or restricted. Cleanliness
of kitchen and our surrounding was very necessary. Self hygiene
and hygiene of all surrounding things were urgently required to fight covid-19
pandemic. Possible
Methods to Live With Covid-19: The best way to fight
this pandemic disease are either we search for vaccine or we must have to
boost our immunity by taking healthy foods and doing physical exercises following social
distancing.
Result
and Conclusion: Yoga and physical
exercises do help in lowering our stress hormones and thus calm down the
nervous system. At the time of relaxation and with less stress hormones, the
nervous system tell the immune system to settle down and order to
stop attacking the foreign bodies. Which normally cleared out by sneezing in
few days? Thus inflammation and mucus decrease and symptoms of infection
diminish. Yoga and physical
exercises help to improve the mechanical efficiency of our lungs by
conditioning the repertoire tract that increase the elasticity and strength of
whole lung. Thus infections of the body heal. Yoga Asana will help us
to lubricate our joints with synovial fluid and it stabilizes muscles through
physical and yogic exercises. Our
immune system is very important and it plays a significant role in keeping us
fit and healthy. Sit in a comfortable, relaxed position. Calm
your mind and observe your thoughts. Perform Anuloma Viloma for 10
minutes. Perform Kapalabhati (150 blows) with adequate rest in between. .A doctor’s permission
could be essential in some cases. To increase immunity, those
asanas which increase energy flow to the neck region should be practiced. Expand your vocabulary. For your daily calculation, do not use calculators.
Instead, opt for the old fashioned mental math. As we grow older, it gets
difficult to do even the normal math in our heads and we opt for calculators.
It is a very common way to keep your brain active. Performing many
activities at same time like working at the computer, putting your little
brother to sleep, listening to music, solving math, working on project etc. It
will increase
your mental ability. We need to stop letting
these gadgets (GPS or Google map) do all our tasks for us. We should use maps
instead. These activities utilize your imagination and analytical skills. Avoid
using a shopping list. The real task is
to make your mind stronger. First, you memorize all the things in your
head and then do shopping. Above
said all required nutrients can be obtained from seasonal salads, milk
products, eggs and meat, grains-legumes, seasonal raw vegetables and seasonal
fruits etc. A healthy food is very important to get strong immunity to fight
against any infections. A common man can also get strong immunity by ideas
given in this paper. Our
immune system does a very urgent job of defending us from disease causing
microorganisms. In my point of view,
immunity is the combo pack of healthy and nutrient foods, yogic and
physical exercises, our ways of thinking, age ( It is not big
factor to contribute in total immunity power), psychological stress,
adequate sleeping, and genetic effect. References:
