Keeping this situation in mind the researcher gone through the different researches i.e. Panday (1977); a study about the adjustment of bright and average students, Rai (1979); a study on adjustment and scholastic achievement of low and high achievers, Nayak (1990); a study on achievement motivation and level of aspiration on non-tribal children, Kaur (1995); a study on intelligence, achievement motivation and study habits; M. Irfan, Sharma H.K. (2006); a study regarding Adjustment, Achievement motivation and frustration among rural, urban, Muslim students in Punjab and then decided that there is a scope to undertake a study regarding Achievement Motivation and Adjustment level of school students. Further due to the rapidly changing scenario of world, it is the need of the hour to know deeply about the abilities, interest, level of Achievement Motivation and Adjustment of secondary school going students, so that their energy and potential may channelized in a positive way.
